Obituary of Eleanor McAllister

McAllister, Eleanor- Eleanor McAllister of Saint John, wife of Marven McAllister, passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on June 10, 2011. Born at Saint John on May 18, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Lulu (Porter) Long. She is survived by her children Keith (Renee), Kenny, Gordie (Kathy), Mary, Sharon (Trevor Edwards) and Lori (John O'Keefe), and grandchildren Cheryl, Kevin, Glen, Jayman, Nolan, Natasha, Nadia, Yasmin, Joli, Sam, Nathan, Shannon and Kathleen. She is also survived by her brothers Murray, Charles, Robert and sisters Marjorie, Lois, Vera, Mary and Pauline. In addition to her parents, Eleanor was pre-deceased by her brothers Lee and Jack and her sister Edith. Â Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425) with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 13 at 2:00pm from Brenan's Bay View Chapel. Interment will take place in the Lorneville Cemetery.
