Obituary of Eileen Frances Surette

The death of Eileen Frances Surette, of 1100 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West, wife of the late George Surette, occurred peacefully on Friday, May 21, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, he was the daughter of the late Alfred and Gladys (Goodine) Maloney. Eileen enjoyed bowling, clogging, reading, writing poetry and singing in the church choir. She is survived by two sons, Joseph George (Velma) of Airdrie, AB and Timothy Francis of Grand Bay-Westfield, three daughters, Susin Eileen Farnham (Arlo) of Saint John, Patricia Elizabeth Day-Holloway of Saint John and Katherine Rose Leggett (Michael) of Grand Bay-Westfield, one brother, Maurice Maloney (Anne Marie) of Saint John, four sisters, Marguerite Davidson (Duncan), Mary Beniot (Clovis), both of Saint John, Dorothy Swain of Ontario and Geraldine Donovan (William) of Halifax, NS, 10 grandchildren, Damian and Sara Farnham, Matthew, Jeremy and Cameron Day-Holloway, Michael and Shannon Surette, Tiffany and Stephen Leggett and Cailin Surette, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Bernard and Vince Maloney. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church, Milford Road, on Monday, May 24, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Interment in St. Augustine's Church Cemetery, Grand Bay-Westfield. The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Morse, Dr. Brown, Dr. Grant and the many caring Nurses, who attended to their Mom.
