Obituary of Christin Danielle McKeown

With her family at her side the death of Christin McKeown, life partner of Brad Iliffe, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 21, 2012 after battling Diabetes so courageously over many years. She was born on July 4, 1980 at Saint John to Percy and Cathy (Robison) McKeown. Christin was a devoted mother; she loved spending time with her children. She was a Beaver Club Leader and a Basketball Coach. Christin also played softball in the ladies league. Besides Brad and her parents, Christin is survived by her daughter, Keltee McKeown; son, Ireland McKeown; brother, Brett McKeown (Stephanie); sister, Tressa McKeown (Sean); paternal grandparents, Robert and Ellen McKeown and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Alice Robison; cousins: Joey and Alex McKeown and infant niece, Scarlett Christin McKeown. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will be held from Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
