Obituary of George Ralph Dunham

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of George Ralph Dunham, husband of Heather (Copp) Dunham, which occurred on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at his residence. Born on August 23, 1948 in Saint John he was the son of the late Ralph and Muriel (Cochrane) Dunham. George and his dad owned and operated Dunham Well Drilling until 1980; he then worked for Daye Well Drilling and then the D.O.T. Woodman's Point as a truck driver and finally a ferry operator at Evandale, NB, where he retired in 2004. He enjoyed spending time at the family camp where he entertained friends and family. He had a great interest in old muscle cars, country music and driving his A.T.V. Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Dru (Tricia) of Grand Bay, and Mike (Catrina) of Browns Flat; three grandchildren, Lacey, Annika and Talon; several nieces and nephews.  Resting at Brenan's Bay View, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB, (634-7425) with visiting on Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 1-4 and 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 from Brenan's Bay View Chapel at 1: 00 pm. Interment will take place in Browns Flat United Cemetery.
