Obituary of Alta Kathleen Lunn

The death of Alta Kathleen "Grammie" Lunn of Grand Bay ? Westfield, NB, wife of the late Harry Sharpe Lunn, occurred on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at the Bayview Special Care Home in Kars, NB. Born in Arostook, NB a daughter of the late Havelock and Ida (Good) McNally she had lived for many years in River de Chute, NB and then, for the past twenty years in Grand Bay ? Westfield with her son and family. Grammie Lunn was a member of Nerepis Baptist Church, enjoyed her family and was especially fond of knitting for them. Survived by one son, Frank (Margaret) Lunn of Grand Bay ? Westfield; three daughters, Dianne (Patrick) Murray of River de Chute, Joyce (Charles) Hamilton of Woodstock, NB and Judy (Larry) Robinson of Fredericton, NB; three brothers, Hazen (Carolyn) McNally, Leo McNally and Donnie Donnelly; two sisters, Marlene (Gary) Plant and Cyrena McNally; sister-in-law, Katie McNally; step-mother, Edith McNally; nineteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her husband, parents, an infant son, two brothers, Donald and Robert McNally, and a sister, Geraldine (Herman) Lunn. The family wish to extend a special thank you to Joan Cookson and staff at the Bayview Special Care Home also her Home Care worker and friend, Heather Brown. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (506) 634-7424 with visiting on Monday, June 7, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from Nerepis Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 10 am. and a Memorial Service at River de Chute Pentecostal Church at 2:30 pm followed by interment in River de Chute Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to the Nerepis Baptist Church Building Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
