Obituary of Suzanne Arlene Chambers-Smith

Passed away on March 19, 2012, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, after a courageous three year, three month battle with cancer. Born in Saint John on August 12, 1958, she was a daughter of Alice (Marshall) Chambers-Foster and the late Glendon E. Chambers. Suzanne worked as a Mortgage Specialist for the Royal Bank of Canada. She loved the sun and all things summer: gardening, her deck, trips to "some place warm", and being on the boat on the river. She is survived by her daughter Jaylee (Murdock) MacDonald, son Jerren (Ashleigh) Smith, whom she loved more than anything, her children's father and friend, Peter Smith, Â sister Cindy Solinsky, brother Eric (Christine) Chambers, grandchildren Alexander and Marcus MacDonald, as well as nieces and nephews; Mathew and Meghan Teaney, Kara, Tonya (Steve), Adam and Ora Solinsky, and Adam, Tyler, and Bryan Chambers. She also loved all the boys that considered her "Mom". In addition to her father, Suzanne was pre-deceased by her brother-in-law, Fred Solinsky. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 23rd at 10:00 am from Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home Chapel.
