Obituary of Carolyn E. Laskey

It is with great sadness that the family of Carolyn E. Laskey announces her passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. Born in Saint John on December 18, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Gordon Arthur Sr. and Hazel Elaine (London) Laskey. Â Carolyn is survived by her brothers; Gordon Laskey (Tina), Blaine Laskey (Diane), and a brother-in-law, Grenville Ingraham, nephews; Tommy Laskey (Teesha), Gordie Ingraham (Kelly), Oram Laskey (Bianca) and Chucky Ingraham, nieces; Carolyn Hamm, Marilyn Laskey and Angela Breau (Michael) as well as 16 great nieces and nephews. Carolyn is also survived by her special friend Brenda Galbraith, and her beloved cat, Tonga. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Dee Dee Ingraham. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John, NB (634-7425). As per Carolyn's request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A graveside service will take place at Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm. Following the interment, a reception will be held from Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home. For those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
