Obituary of Marie Margaret Warr

Warr, Marie Margaret The death of Marie Margaret Warr, wife of the late Maxwell Warr, occurred on June 18, 2004, at the Carleton Kirk Nursing Home. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of the late Ward and Margaret (Kendall) Hamm. She was a graduate of Mount Carmel Business College and was employed with Prudential Insurance retiring as Office Manager in 1983. She was an active member of St. James Anglican Church, Broad Street, and volunteered with Romero House-Soup Kitchen. She loved her cats and enjoyed her time gardening. She is survived by her brother Raymond Hamm of Rothesay, her sister Hilda and her husband Eugene Mason of Saint John and several nieces and nephews. Her brother Howard Hamm predeceased her. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road (634-7425), with visiting on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 21, 2004, at 11:00 AM, from St. Columba Church, 1454 Manawagonish Road, with Rev. Robyn Cuming officiating. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery. Remembrances made to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
