Obituary of George Goddard

The death of George Goddard of Fredericton and Saint John, NB occurred on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Kenora, ON, a son of the late Courtney and Nancy (Finlayson) Goddard, he was a member of the RAOB Lodge (Buffalo Club). Survived by special friend, Christina Collins; one son, Derrick Goddard of Hamilton, ON; two daughters, Linda Goddard of Hamilton and Molly Goddard of Sudbury, ON; three brothers, Raymond Goddard of Saint John, William Goddard of Martinon, NB and Allison (Sharon) Goddard of Saint John; three sisters, Grace Landry of Saint John, Florence Clancy of Nerepis and Joanne Goddard of Montreal, PQ; five step-sons, Gregory LaPorte of McGivney, NB, Eugene (Kathy) Collins of Fredericton, Edward (Julie) Collins of Fredericton, Brian (Nancy) Collins of Nerepis and Lawrence (Donna) Collins of Nerepis; one step-daughter, Mary (Ivan) Collins of Saint John; a number of grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and good friends, Harry and Connie. Predeceased by three brothers, Jackie, Ted and Charlie and one sister, Greta Harris. The family wish to express Thank You to doctors O'Brien, Day and Enfield and the nurses of the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Rd., Saint John, NB (506) 634-7425 with visiting on Monday, June 28, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service will be held from St. Columba Church, 1454 Manawagonish Rd, Saint John on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 2 pm. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. Remembrances may be made to a charity of the donors choice.
