Obituary of Domicien Robichaud

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Domicien (Joe) Robichaud of Grand Bay – Westfield, husband of Alice (Dupuis) Robichaud, which occurred on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital with his loving family at his side. Born on November 24, 1943 he was a son of the late Antoine and Josephine Robichaud. Joe was a retired business manager for Painters and Allied Trades. He was a member of local 1151 and 1936. Joe loved to go hunting and fishing. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him so much joy. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Alice; children, Claude (Pamela), Robert (Anna), Monique and Gilles (Lisa); six grandchildren, Brandon, Jessica, Adam, Alicia, Dominic and Jax; Derek (Stephanie) and their children, Sean and Joshua of whom Joe considered his son and grandchildren six sisters and five brothers; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Joe was predeceased by his brother, Elvery. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John (634-7425) with visiting on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 and Wednesday, September 19, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 10:00 am from St. Matthew's Church, Grand Bay. Interment in St. Augustine's Cemetery.
