Obituary of Vella M Theall

Vella M Theall, 92, passed away peacefully, on Friday, November 1, 2002 at the Carleton Kirk Lodge Nursing Home, Saint John West. Vella was born and resided all her life in Saint John West, working for C. S. Lucks Grocery Store and Lads & Lassies Clothing Store. She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd in 1956, and her parents, John and Marjie (Campbell) Woodland. She is survived by one son, Murray Theall of Willow Grove, NB, two grandchildren, Debra Boomer and Angela Smythe, four great-grandchildren, Weston Boomer, Shiloh, Taylor and Breana Smythe, all of Saint John. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Carleton Kirk Lodge Nursing Home (2nd Floor), for making her last years as comfortable as possible. Resting at Brenan's Bay View Select Community Funeral Home, 1461 Manawagonish Road, Saint John West (634-7425), with visiting on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at Brenan's Bay View Chapel on Tuesday, November 5, 2002 at 2:00 PM. Interment in Cedar Hill Extension. In lieu of flowers remembrances to the Carleton Kirk United Church, where Vella was a lifelong member, singing for many years in the church choir.
