Obituary of Laurette Giroux

At the home of her daughter, Beth Kelly, on the 18th of November 2002, at the age of 74 and 9 months, has died Laurette Giroux, wife of the late Fernando Giroux (23-10-2001). Born on the 2nd of February 1928 in Selwood (Balmoral), she was the daughter of the late Théophile DesRosiers and the late Alphéda Fournier. She is survived by her children Beth of Grand Bay?Westfield, Gisèle (Francis Corrigan) of Charlo, Claude (Jacqueline Vienneau) of Petit-Rocher and Emile (Nicole Comeau) of St-Luc, Québec, ten grandchildren (Adrian, Danielle, Nicole, Sophie, Leigh, Peter, Serge, Robert, André and Mélanie), five great grandchildren, three sisters, two brothers and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends at Mahers Funeral Home, Balmoral, N.B. on Thursday, November 21, 2002, at 7 :00 to 9 :00 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St-Francois Xavier in Charlo, N.B. on Friday, November 22, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
