Obituary of Cheryl Lynn Saunders

The death of Cheryl Lynn Saunders, wife of Everette Saunders, occurred on November 29, 2004 at her residence. Born in Saint John she was the daughter of Shirley (Ashford) and the late Murray Francis. She was employed as the Admitting Officer for the Workers Compensation Board. She was a very active member of the Church of the Resurrection, Grand Bay-Westfield, being involved in the Bible Study Group and teaching Sunday School. She enjoyed creative memories and scrap booking. Her greatest love was her family and was considered an avid 'hockey ? baseball Mom' cheering loudly for her sons and their teams. Besides her husband and mother she is survived by her sons Edwin 'Alex' and Bradley, her brother Donnie Francis and his wife Mary of Westfield, her sisters Florence and her husband Peter Burgess of the Nerepis, Rose Marie and her husband Danny May of Hampton, Kelly and her husband Paul Burns of New River, NB, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Resting at the Parish Center, formerly St. Johns Church, Grand Bay-Westfield, with visiting on Monday from 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be officiated by The Venerable Vicars Hodge on Wednesday, December 1, 2004, at 11:00 AM, at St. Matthews Church, Grand Bay. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Clarendon, NB. In Lieu of Flowers, remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Church of the Resurrection Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
