Obituary of Joan Colpitts

Colpitts, Ethel Joan; The death of Joan Colpitts of Rothesay, NB, occurred Saturday, May 30th, 2009, at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Norton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Nelly (Dole) Colpitts. Joan is survived by one son, Sean Colpitts of Rothesay; three sisters, Ann Williams, Marie Mather and Alta Scott; three brothers, Sam, John and Bill Colpitts; three precious granddaughters, Samantha, Angelina and Kiara; as well as, several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Joan was also predeceased by one son, James Colpitts and one brother, Donald Colpitts. At the request of the family, there will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Quispamsis, at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow the Mass, at the church hall. Interment will take place in Riverbank Cemetery, Norton, at 1:00 PM. Arrangements are entrusted to Kennebecasis Select Community Funeral Home, 152 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB, (506) 849-2119.
