Dear Ken and Sons and families
We are very sad to hear of Belle’s passing. She was always so welcoming to new comers to the BDC family of employees and their spouses. Belle was always a gracious hostess and listener who showed interest in everyone’s lives . She possessed a patient and gentle spirit unlike anyone else I’ve ever met.
May Belle be reunited with her mother and join up with a heavenly choir, free from pain and suffering.
Love and prayers
Kerry and Dan Daley

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your loss. I knew Belle through the Carleton Choristers where she was a wonderful mentor to me, teaching me a lot about our music and allowing me to “follow” along with her beautiful alto voice. A lovely person indeed. - Debbie Henry

Ken, Kevin, Jennifer and Sam, Kris, Laura, Benjamin, Michael and Paul - you were blessed to have Belle as a wife, mother and grandmother. She always had such a positive attitude even while facing mounting health challenges over the past few years. I was fortunate to be Belle’s neighbour and friend and have so many happy and fond memories of gatherings to celebrate Birthdays and other special holidays. From dinner in the dining room (table cloth on) to cupcakes and tea in the driveway amidst all the neighborhood pups, Belle always was the “hostess with the mostest”! I shall remember Belle every Spring as the Forsythia blooms and share in your sadness. Rest In Peace Belle

Ron & I were sorry to hear the passing of Belle. As others have said she will be singing in the heavenly alto choir with fellow alto Heather D. members of the Carleton Choristers, she was a beautiful person, always a smile on her face. Great times ( Christmas parties) shared in her home, choir practice, etc. Belle will be missed. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

I was sad to hear of Belle's passing but glad that she is not suffering and is indeed "singing alto in a heavenly choir". I joined the Carleton choristers several years ago after being away from choral singing for a long time. I sat with Belle and she made me feel so welcome. She helped me so much that winter-I might have given up if it hadn't been for her. She had a great alto voice, was patient, liked a good laugh and was just the sort of person you should be lucky enough to sit beside in a choir practice. I know she will be missed by her family, her community and her church. She was a gem.

Dear Ken,
My mother shared the sad news of Belle’s passing with me a couple days ago. You’ve all been on my thoughts. I know it’s been a very difficult past decade for Belle and you all; I’m hopeful that knowing she’s now unburdened by illness can bring you a sense of calm and joy during the sadness.

Dear Ken and sons: I am so sorry to hear of Belles passing, I am Helen's great niece and felt that we were related in a way. I know she fought a hard battle and someway her heart and soul will be with all of you and here in Hackett's Cove. She will be missed and thought of often!

Ken, Kevin and Kristopher, heartfelt sympathy from the Dixon's. So many memories from Robert Allen Dr., from testing Belle's hot cookies in your kitchen, to stringing popcorn and cranberries for the tree, to decorating the pine tree in our back yard. Then, of course, Belle extended a warm welcome to Dave and I as we set out on our trek to Florida. It was always fun to be in your company.
Hugs to the grandchildren. Belle was a wonderful friend. Regina
