Obituary of Robert J. Knox

The death of Robert J. Knox occurred at Ridgewood Veterans' Wing on Thursday, February 10, 2005. Mr. Knox was born in Saint John, a son of the late William and Lena Knox. He had served with the Royal Canadian Navy and the Royal Canadian Army during the Second World War. Following the war, he was employed with McAvity's. He was predeceased by three brothers, Lester, Andrew and William Knox Jr.; and and a sister, Gertrude. He is survived by a son, Bobby Knox of Saint john; a daughter, Patricia Ellis (Jason) of St. Martin's; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday from 7 to 9 and on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be conducted by Rev. John Martin in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Monday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.
