Obituary of Stella OBrien

The death of Stella O'Brien of Quispamsis occurred at Marysview Seniors Facility, Hampton, on Tuesday, March 8, 2005, following a lengthy illness at age 85. Stella was born in Pokemouche, a daughter of the late John and Annie (Hayden) Hayden. She was pre-deceased by two daughters, Sharon and Gail; two brothers, William Hayden (Bathurst) and Mike Hayden (Pokemouche); four sisters, Gladys Porper, Eva Huggar, Annie Stadnick, and Bertha Boone. She is survived by her husband, Edward O'Brien of Ridgewood Veterans' Wing; one brother, John Hayden of Pokemouche; two sisters, Ida King of Miramichi City, and Jane Savoie of Montreal; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
