Obituary of Jenny D. Farrell

the death of Jenny D. Farrell of 12 York St., widow of Lionel A. Farrell and loving mother of Lynda D. Farrell and the late James P. Farrell, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 14, 2003. Mrs. Farrell was born in Trehebert, Wales, a daughter of the late Joseph T. and Maryann (Lee) Evans, and had resided the greater part of her life in Saint John. She was a member of the Catholic Women's League and the St. Joseph's Hospital Auxillary. She had been a Brown Owl with the Girl Guides of Canada (Brownies ) and was a member of the Trefoil Guild. She was pre-deceased by a son, James P. Farrell, and a brother, F. Arthur L. Evans. She is survived by one daughter, Lynda M. Farrell of Saint John; and four nephews, David L. Evans, Norman C. Evans, Barry P. Evans, and Arthur G. Evans. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim's Church on Monday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
