Obituary of S. Margaret McGillivray

McGillivray - At her residence, the death of Mrs. S. Margaret McGillivray formerly of Milford Road, wife of the late G.Bernard McGillivray occurred at the Spencer Nursing Home, Salisbury, NB, on Thursday September, 1st, 2005. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late William John and Janet Louise (Walker) Cunningham. Margaret worked for a number of years at the Saint John General Hospital, as a secretary for Dr's Miller, Bate, Pond and Dr. Iype. Margaret is survived by her children, Bernard McGillivray (Joanne) of Saint John, Rick McGillivray (Simonne) of Moncton, Barbara Cyr (Robert) and Carole Ann Clark (Bob) both of Dartmouth, NS, brother Norman Cunningham (Joan) of British Columbia, and sisters Ruth Albert of Ontario, and Janet Mackin (Roy) of Bloomfield, several grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Margaret was predecaesed by a son Peter Douglas McGillivray, a great- grandchild Brandon Rice, brother William Cunningham, and sister Frances Strachan. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home 100 Waterloo Street, with visiting on Friday September 2, 2005 from 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Rose of Lima Church on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Augustine's Cemetery, Westfield, NB. In lieu of flowers donations to the charity of the donors choice, would be appreciated by the family.
