Obituary of Florence M. Duplessis

The death of Florence M. Duplessis of 386 Union St., widow of Celestin J. Duplessis, occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday, October 1, 2005. Mrs. Duplessis was born in Shippegan, a daughter of the late Peter and Regina (LeClair) Chiasson, and had resided the greater part of her life in Saint John where she had been employed at various hospitals. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She is survived by three sons, Anthony (Frances), Robert, and Norman (Donna) all of Saint john; two daughters, Annette Duplessis of Saint John, and Antoinette DiFranco (Charles) of Merrimack, N.H.; three brothers; six sisters; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and special friend, Ernest Gallant of Saint John. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday morning at twelve o'clock. Following cremation, interment will take lace in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
