Obituary of Brian W. E. Dunn

The funeral of Brian Dunn of 995 Grandview Ave. was held from Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home to Stella Maris Church where Mass of Christian Burial was con-celebrated by Rev. William Weiss, Rev. Joseph Cochrane, Rev. William Elliott, Rev. Douglas McNeill, and Rev. Patrick J. Coyne. The lay-readers were Firman Flynn and Shauna Harrison. The prayer of the Faithful was led by Father McNeil. Active pallbearers were Scott Winters, Jeff Winters, Kirk Winters, Terry McGrath, John Bielli, and Darren Craswell. Honourary pallbearers were Kevin Dunn, Gordon Harrison, Cliff McDonough, Theresa Ganong, Firman Flynn, and Stan Winters. Among the numerous floral tributes received was one from the Staff of Allied Systems. Among the numerous spiritual tributes received were those from Stella Maris Parish; and St. John the Baptist Parish. A donation to Stella Maris Renovation Fund was received from Stella Maris Catholic Women's League. Donations were also received to St. Pius X Memorial Fund; the Kidney Foundation of Canada; Our Lady of Perpetual Help Building Fund; the Canadian Diabetes Association; the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation; St. Malachy's Scholarship Fund; Rocmaura Foundation; the Canadian Cancer Society; and the Children's Wish Foundation. Interment took place in St. Joseph's Cemetery with prayers at the grave by Father Weiss assisted by Father McNeil and Father Cochrane.
