Obituary of Gregory J. Walsh

WALSH-the death of Gregory J. Walsh of Chateau Champlain, husband of the late Marie (Murphy) Walsh, occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, November 27, 2005. Mr. Walsh was born in Saint John, a son of the late James J. and Gertrude (Quinlan) Walsh. He had been head of the Industrial Dept. of Simonds High School until his retirement in 1975. He had also been assistant-superindetendant at Saint John Iron Works for a number of years. He was a Past-President of the St. Vincent du Paul Society, and a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Elks Club. He is survived by several cousins. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
