Obituary of Anne A. King

KING- the death of Anne A. King of 155 St. James St., Saint John, widow of Walter P. King, occurred at St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday, December 3, 2005. Mrs. King was born in Brownsville Jct., Maine, a daughter of the late James and Jeannette (Conway) Chapter, and had resided the greater part of her life in Saint John. She had been employed in Central Supply at St. Joseph's Hospital until her retirement a number of years ago. She had been a member of St. John the Baptist parish for over sixty years. She was always interested in the arts and was a gifted pianist. She is survived by two sons, John King, Q.C. (Joan) of Rothesay, and Dr. Paul King of Saint John; one daughter, Nancy Schofield (Mike) of Moncton; her daughter-in-law, Carole King of St. Andrew's; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be held at Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Tuesday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Palliative Care 8th Floor, St. Joseph's Hospital, or the Animal Rescue League would be appreciated.
