Obituary of Gerald J. Leger

LEGER-the death of Gerald J. Leger of 11 Conifer Crescent, husband of Beatrice M. (Crossman) Leger, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, December 22, 2005. Mr. Leger was born in Moncton, a son of the late Sylvain and Elizabeth (Hebert-Landry) Leger. He had been a painter at the Saint John Regional Hospital until his retirement a number of years ago. He was pre-deceased by a grandson, Jonathan Erb. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Gerald F. Leger (Elizabeth) of Willow Grove; three daughters, Sandra Arsenault (Frank) of Grand Bay, Margaret Craig (Les) of Saint John, and Chris Erb (Rick) of French Village; four brothers, Roderick 'Ging' Leger (Florence) of Montreal, Edward Surrett of Moncton, Fred Leger (Ann) of Toronto, and Edward Daigle (Alva) of Moncton; two sisters, Dolly Cormier of Buctouche and Nelly Leger of Moncton; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., where service will be held on Saturday morning at eleven o'clock. Following cremation, interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
