Obituary of Loretta Marsh

The death of Loretta Marsh of 7 Morgan Rd. occurred at her residence on Sunday, September 14, 2003. Mrs. Marsh was born in Kingston, Ont., a daughter of the late Bertram and Isabelle (LaFrance) Newell. She was an avid movie collector, owl collector, and card player. Loretta enjoyed outings and crafts with her special granddaughter, Holly Bennett-Pinkney and Shawn. She was pre-deceased by her husband, David Marsh, and her companion, George Coleman. She is survived by four sons, James (Darla) of Saint John, David (Joelle) of B.C., Edwin (Dianne) of Toronto, and Andrew (Jennifer Fudge) of Saint John; five daughters, Mary Marsh, Julia Bennett (Laurent Duguay), Susan Smith (Leonard), and Geneva Williams all of Saint John, and Daphne Tucker (Don) of Niagara Falls, Ont.; one sister, Marry Hatto (Bob McCrossin) of Toronto; one daughter-in-law, Judy Marsh of Agassi, B.C.; two nieces, Cindy Riley of Quispamsis, and Sherri Gallant of Saint John; one nephew, Wayne Hatto of B.C.; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Following cremation, graveside service will be conducted by Rev. Leander Mills at Ocean View Memorial Gardens on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Arrangements by Fitzpatrick's Funeral Service Ltd.
