Obituary of Donald L. Richard

The death of Donald L. Richard of 111 Sidney St. occurred at his residence on Wednesday, May 31, 2006. Mr. Richard was born in Saint John, a son of the late George and Rose Marie (Cyr) Richard. He had been employed as custodian in the Bank of Nova Scotia Building (Charlotte St.) until his retirement. He was a member of Bishop McMahon Council K. of C. and Msgr. Lockary 4th Degree Assembly. He was predeceased by a brother, Nelson Richard; and a sister, Muriel Best. He is survived by four nieces, Patricia Foss, Debra Schooley, Cynthia Beck, and Laurie Osmon; and two nephews, George and Christopher Best. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday morning at 10:30. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Members of the Knights of Columbus will gather at the funeral home on Thursday evening at seven o'clock for prayers.
