Obituary of Gladys F. Seymour

The death of Gladys F. Seymour of 25 Daniel Ave., widow of Gregory J. Seymour, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, September 26, 2003. Mrs. Seymour was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Ernest W. and Mabel (Sharpe) Ekstrom. She had owned and operated Seymour Plumbing with her late husband, Gregory J. Seymour, for many years. She was a member of the Millidgeville Seniors Club and enjoyed music and knitting for the babies at the hospital. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Marcia D. Seymour in 1959. She is survived by three daughters, Marlene Jenkins (Harold), Sharon Robichaud (David), and Nancy LeDoux (Joseph), all of Saint John; ten grandchildren, Marcia, Stephen, Michael, Kelly, Joseph, Lori, Michelle, Catherine, Rachel, and Gregory; 15 great-grandchildren, Tracey, Tara, Vanessa, Francesca, Aaron, Mathew, Nicky, Isaac, Dean, Cameron, Carter, Alexander, Justin, and Brandon; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Monday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
