Obituary of Vincent G. Housen

The death of Vincent G. Housen of 220 Berliz Park, Montreal, occurred unexpectedly in Montreal on Sunday, October 5, 2003. Mr. Housen was born in Saint John, a son of the late George and Mary (Haley) Housen. He had attended St. Malachy's High School and was a coach of the North End Little League and minor basketball. Following service with the R.C.A.F. he has resided in Montreal where he was an I.L.A. checker. He was an avid golfer and sportsfan. He was pre-deceased by two sisters, Ruth Kennedy and Patricia Fleming. He is survived by two sisters, Rita Morris of Saint John, and Elizabeth Dine of Kingston, Ont.; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Church on Friday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
