Obituary of Joan M. Huestis

The death of Joan M. Huestis of 212 Tower St., wife of Norman W. Huestis, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 15, 2003. Mrs. Huestis was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Bernard and Emma (Adamson) Coughlan. She was a member of TOPPS and the Assumption 45's Club. She had operated the Manawagonish Rd. Irving Convenience Store and the Information and Lottery Booth at Brunswick Square. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Heidi Woodcock (Mark) of Musquash, and Heather Dawson (Joel) of Windsor, Ont.; two sisters, Louise Briggs (Joseph), and Wendy Coughlan, both of Saint John; four grandchildren, Kyle and Megan Woodcock, and Thomas and Evan Carr; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 7 to 9 and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Saturday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
