Obituary of Irene M. Britton

BRITTON-the death of Irene M. Britton of 21 Converse Lane, Riverview, N.B., widow of W. Ross Britton, occurred at her residence on Monday, January 8, 2007. Mrs. Britton was born in Montreal, a daughter of the late Adrien and Lina (Laviolette) Ratte. She had resided in Saint John from 1970 until moving to Riverview in 2002. She had been employed as Administrative Assistant at Gardner Electric. She is survived by one son, Ross of Saint John; two daughters, Joanne Britton of Saint John, and Wendy Stokes (Jim Armstrong) of Riverview; four grandchildren, Jarrod Britton, Matthew Stokes, Ashley Stokes, and Gabrielle Britton. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
