Obituary of Larry J. Thiemann

THIEMANN-the death of Larry J. Thiemann occurred at his residence, 18 Harding St., on Saturday, January 20, 2007. Larry was born in Geraldton, Ont., a son of the late Alois and Marion (Anderson) Thiemann, and had resided the greater part of his life in Saint John. He had served with the Royal Canadian Navy before returning to Saint John, where he was a tender diver at Canaport and a cost accountant with Foster Wheeler. He later operated Orange St. Variety and Green Stamp Exchange. At the time of his death he was an apartment building operator. He is survived by one son, Ryan Thiemann of B.C.; one daughter, Laura Thiemann of Saint John; one brother, David (Cindy) of Saint John; two nieces, Natasha and Salena Thiemann; and his special friend, Debbie Green. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be held in Fitzpatrick's Chapel on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment will take place in Fernhill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Christian Children's Foundation would be appreciated.
