Obituary of Lucy M. Sulis

The death of Lucy M. Sulis of 880 Dannells Drive, widow of Harold J. Sulis, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, January 22, 2007. Lucy was born in Rogersville, a daughter of the late Placide and Sylvie (Richard) Aucoin, and had resided the greater part of her life in Saint John where she had been employed as a salesperson with Calp's for many years. She was a member of the Legion of Mary for over 50 years. She was predeceased by three brothers, Leo, Fidele, and David Aucoin; and three sisters, Maria and Rita Aucoin, and Flora Doiron. She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Sheils (Robert) of Grand Bay-Westfield, and Linda Doucet (Rodrigue) of Saint John; two sisters, Justine Doiron of Moncton, and Regina Logan of Sarasota, Fla.; five grandchildren, Robbie Sheils (Jennifer), Cheryl Palmer (Brent), Roddy Doucet, Marc Doucet, and Amy-Lynne Doucet; and three great-grandchildren, Samantha and Jessica Palmer, and Bentley Sheils. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday from 7 to 9 and on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on Thursday morning at nine o'clock. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
