Obituary of Patricia Gladys Collrin

COLLRIN-the death of Patricia Gladys Collrin of 656 Brunswick Drive, widow of Walter Collrin, and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, October 20, 2003 after a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Collrin was born in Saint John on July 7, 1926, a daughter of the late Carl L. and Kathleen A. (LeGoff) May. Pat had volunteered many years with the Volunteers of the Red Cross and received a Merit of Honor and a Gold Pin. She was a member of the Legion of Mary; St. Jude's Society; the Glen Falls Gems; and the Happy Years Club. She was pre-deceased by a grandson, Stephen Crowe; two brothers, Daniel and Carl May; and two sisters, Mary Kinney and Ann Hunter. She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth A. Crowe (James) of Upper Loch Lomond; three sons, Leonard M. Collrin (Lynda) of Saint John, Robert L. Collrin (Deborah) of Surrey, B.C., and Daniel C. Collrin (Betty) of Saint John; three brothers, Richard May (Mary), Paul May, and David May, all of Saint John; four sisters, Nancy Kirk (William), Barbara Isaac (Tom), Jane Hoben (Merle), and Kathleen Gee (Peter) all of Saint John; six grandchildren, Paul, Amy, Michael, Lisa, Krista, and Corey; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Thursday morning at twelve o'clock followed by cremation.
