Obituary of James R Young

YOUNG-the death of James R. Young of Raspberry Lane, Big Cove, Queens Co. occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 15, 2007. Jim was born in Saint John, a son of the late John and Shawn (Martin) Young, and had been employed in the woodroom at Irving Paper until his retirement. He is survived by two daughters, Kellie Bent (Fred) of Calgary, and Pam Hogan (Jonathan) of Tignish, P.E.I.; one brother, Douglas J. Young (Dian-Leigh) of Rothesay; two sisters, Joan Haggerty (Joe) of Saint John, and Nancy Burke (Garnett) of Ottawa; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday morning at twelve o'clock. Entombment will take place in Fernhill Vault with interment to take place in Holy Cross Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer society would be appreciated.
