Obituary of Marion E. Pye

PYE-the death of Marion E. Pye, widow of Leo P. Pye, occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Saturday, April 7, 2007. Mrs. Pye was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Harry and Bertha (Hanlon) Doody. She had been employed with Dominion Stores Ltd. for 34 years and was a longtime member of the Catholic Women's League. She is survived by her son, Leo B. Pye (Wanda) of Rothesay; her daughter, Sandra M. Mudge (Terrell) of Saint John; five grandchildren, Sean Patrick Mudge (Cheryl), Suzanne Marie Pye (Marc), Terrellyn Theresa Fearn, Scott Louis Mudge (Marie), and Tammy Marie Mudge; eight great-grandchildren, Morgan Mudge, Aidan Fearn, Nathan Tanfara, Devon Mudge, Logan Mudge, Alyssa Mudge, Isabel Tanfara, and Nathan Mudge; a niece, Linda Pye of Saint John; and a brother-in-law, Gregory Pye of Saint John. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim's Church on Tuesday morning at eleven o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
