Obituary of Albert L. J. Robichaud

The death of Albert L. J. Robichaud of Loch Lomond Villa and formerly of the Admiral Beatteay Complex, husband of Lorenza M. (Savoie) Robichaud, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, May 31, 2007. Mr. Robichaud was born in Chatham, N.B., a son of the late Benedict and Genevieve (Savoie) Robichaud. Al had lived the greater part of his life in Saint John where he had been employed as a truck drive and a taxi drive. He had been employed with Simpson Truck and Trailer for twenty years until his retirement. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Michael (Judy) and David (Shirley), both of Saint John; three daughters, Carol (Brad) Stewart, Irene Robichaud (Paul Goguen), and Doreen Robichaud, all of Saint John; two brothers, Raymond (Yvonne) of Saint John, and Alphonse of Innisfil, Ont.; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday morning at twelve o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
