Obituary of Gerard J. Clancy

The death of Gerard J. 'Jape' Clancy of 386 Brittain Rd., Nerepis, husband of Florence P. (Goddard) Clancy, occurred unexpectedly at his residence on Friday, November 7, 2003. Mr. Clancy was born in Saint John, a son of the late James G. and Margaret M. (Gayton) Clancy. He had been employed as S.P.C.A. Inspector and with the Animal Rescue League until his retirement. Besides his wife, he is survived by one brother, James (Betty Lou) of Saint John; two sisters, Margaret Clancy of Saint John, and Mary Hodd of Hamilton, Ont.; and several nieces and nephews. Following cremation, interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery with graveside service on Wednesday afternoon at three o'clock.
