Obituary of Margaret M. Devlin

DEVLIN-the death of Margaret M. Devlin of 21 Floey Ct., widow of Gerald F. Devlin, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, July 20, 2007. Mrs. Devlin was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late John and Sara (Gilson) Nelson. She had been a member of Holy Trinity Council Catholic Women's League for over fifty years. She was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Nelson and Eileen Ellsworth; and a son-in-law, Charles Clancy. She is survived by two sons, Paul (Janet) of Rothesay, and Karl (Joan) of Kelowna, B.C.; two daughters, Shirley Clancy and Dolores (George) Raymond, both of Saint John; one sister, Rita (St. Clair) Smith of Saint John; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Annette McLellan of Saint John. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Monday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
