Obituary of Linda M. Grant

GRANT-the death of Linda M. Grant of 656 Brunswick Drive, widow of Arthur R. Grant, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, July 26, 2007. Mrs. Grant was born in Newcastle, a daughter of the late John and Regina (Pitre) Benoit, and had resided the greater part of hr life in Saint John. She is survived by a son, Vernon Thibeau of Montreal; a step-son, David Grant of Calgary; two step-daughters, Mary Jane McManus and Betty Ann Grant, both of Saint John; two brothers, George (Odile) and Raymond Benoit, both of Miramichi; three sisters, Marie Edith Benoit of Moncton, Bertha (Alyre) Malley of Saint John, and Theresa (Richard) Daigle of St. Louis de Kent; five step-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Service will be conducted in Fitzpatrick's Chapel by Pastor Harold Braun on Monday afternoon at one o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
