Obituary of Lajos Sando

The death of Lajos Sando of 876 Red Head Rd., husband of the late Lissie (Rossberg) Sando, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, November 23, 2003, at the age of 84. Born in Szaporca, Hungary, he was a son of the late Sandor and Maria (Jaksa) Sando. Lajos had been employed at the Saint John General Hospital in the Housekeeping and Maintenance Dept. for over 30 Years until his retirement in 1984. He loved to fish, garden, and work on his cottage in his spare time. He is survived by his goddaughter, Maria (Waddell), Mrs. Malcolm Wiggins, and their children, Jody, Casey, Lisa, and Amanda, his dog Snoopy,and cat Rusty,and his caregiver Brenda. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., where service will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will take place in Ocean View Memorial Gardens. Visiting will be on Tuesday from 1 to 2 pm.
