Obituary of R. Vincent Coholan

COHOLAN-the death of R. Vincent "Vic" Coholan of 5 Willie Ave., husband of Helen (Hachey) Coholan, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, November 22, 2007. Mr. Coholan was born in Boston, Mass., on February 27, 1930, a son of the late Roy Vincent and Frances Genevieve (Crilley) Coholan. He had been employed as a pipefitter at Saint John Shipbuilding for over 40 years and was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 213. He was predeceased by a brother, Patrick Coholan. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Gregory (Heather) of Hubbards, N.S.; three daughters, Mary Frances Boudreau (Ronald) of Chilliwack, B.C., and Anna "Cookie" McCarty (Denis), and Lois Coholan, both of Saint John; , one brother, Raymond (Doris) of Quispamsis; four sisters, Beatrice Hamilton(Donald) of Moncton, and Marion Pye, Joan Celeste (Lino), and Lois Parlee (David), all of Saint John; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St, with visiting on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joachim's Church on Monday morning at ten o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
