Obituary of Doreen A. J. Crowley
CROWLEY-the death of Doreen A. J. Crowley occurred at her residence, Charlton Place, on Friday, February 29, 2008. Miss Crowley was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late LeBlanc and Ella (Williams) Crowley. She had been employed as a secretary. As was her style, Doreen maintained her sense of humour right to the end. She had a special love of cats and they were with her when she died... Ira to provide comfort, Nikki to provide entertainment, and Kayla to guard her. She was predeceased by a sister, Phyllis Tracey, and a nephew, Wayne Power. She is survived by two brothers, Willard (Geraldine) Crowley of Saint John, and Dorn (Helen) Crowley of Corunna., Ont.; three sisters, Ruby Landry(George) of Chateauguay, Que., Jean Fontaine of Charlottetown, and Glenna Power of Rothesay; and several nieces and nephews, including Patricia Tracey. Memorial service will be held at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Animal Rescue League would be appreciated.
