Obituary of Antoine J. Johnson

JOHNSON-the death of Antoine J. Johnson, husband of Jeanne Marie (Ouellette) Johnson, occurred at the Turnbull Home on Monday, March 24, 2008. Mr. Johnson was born at Acadieville, a son of the late Clement and Elizabeth (Cormier) Johnson. He had been employed as a miner at Minto until moving to Saint John over twenty years ago. He was predeceased by seven brothers, Jean- Baptiste, Richard, Andre, Abel, Pierre, Joseph, and Fidele Johnson; and three sisters, Marie Robichaud, Elise Gallant, and Victorine Thibodeau. Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Wonita Thomas of Edmonton, Jeainata Haggerty (John) of Quispamsis, and Sandra and Angel Johnson, both of Saint John; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Friday morning at 12:05.
