Obituary of H. Charles Robichaud

The death of H. Charles Robichaud of 33 Smythe St., companion of Shirley Speight, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, January 8, 2004. Mr. Robichaud was born in Saint John, a son of the late Charles H. and Veronica (Noel) Robichaud. He had served with the Royal Canadian Army during the Second World War in security at the Saint John Dry Dock. He later worked at the Saint John Regional Hospital. He was pre-deceased by his wife, the former Leona Baxter; and three sisters, Lena Fisher, Margaret Gaudet, and Florence Robichaud. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Saturday morning at 10:30. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery in the spring. A Royal Canadian Legion Memorial Service will be held on Friday evening at seven o'clock.
