Obituary of Frederick C. Muise

The death of Frederick C. Muise of 21 Maple Hill Lane, husband of Elizabeth A. (Ellis) Muise, occurred unexpectedly at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, January 9, 2004. Mr. Muise was born in Saint John, a son of the late Cornelius and Gladys (Darlow) Muise. He had been employed in the Maintenance Dept. of Saint John Shipbuilding for 37 years until his retirement in 1998 and was a member of the Marine and Shipbuilding Union Local 3. He was keenly interested in genealogy and was a member of the Argyle Municipality Historical and Genealogy Society in Tusket, N.S. He had spent the last eleven winters vacationing in Florida. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Ruth Kearns. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Eric (Amanda Arseneau) of Saint John; one sister, Helen Dumouchel of Saint John; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday from 7 to 9 and on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
