Obituary of Joseph H. E. Crossman

The death of Joseph H. E. Crossman of 40 McLaren Blvd. occurred at his residence on Saturday, September 13, 2008. Mr. Crossman was born in Port Elgin, a son of the late Clarence and Margaret (Leger) Crossman. He had been employed with Murray and Gregory for 17 years, with T. S. Simms for 5 years, and with Orchard Park Service Convenience Store in Chillwack, B.C. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Elizabeth Cuthbertson; a daughter, Crystal Crossman; and two sisters, Josephine Stevens and Lillian Leger. He is survived by a son, Edwin of Richmond, B.C.; a daughter, Karen Rodgerson (Frank) of Saint John; a brother, Reginald of Grand Bay-Westfield; a sister, Beatrice Leger of Saint John; a grandson, Douglas Rodgerson; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday morning at 12:05. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Mass Offerings, donations to the Alzheimer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
