Obituary of Arthur G. Quinlan

QUINLAN-the death of Arthur G. Quinlan, husband of Doris T. (Rodday) Quinlan, occurred unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday, September 14, 2008. Arthur was born in Saint John, a son of the late Grattan and Margaret (McAuley) Quinlan, and had been employed with the Dept. of Highways until his retirement a number of years ago. He was predeceased by three brothers Walter, Gordon, and Leo Quinlan; and two sisters, Carmel (Ken) Dallon and Theresa Quinlan. Besides his wife, he is survived by three brothers, Daniel, Harold (Harriet), and Bernard (Jean) Quinlan, all of Saint John; one sister, Marjorie (Ralph) Cosman of Saint John; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church on Thursday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
