Obituary of Mary M. Mortimer

MORTIMER- the death of Mary M. Mortimer of Loch Lomond Villa, wife of Herbert V. Mortimer, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, September 26, 2008. Mrs. Mortimer was born in Saint John, a daughter of the late Fred and Mabel (Logan) Sheilder. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Herbert V. (Yvonne) of Calgary; a daughter, Elizabeth "Betty" Wharton (Ron) of Saint John; a brother, Sidney Logan of Hampton; three sister, Theresa Hickey of Nauwigewauk, Mary Harris of Digby, and Helen Woodley of Newfoundland; 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on Tuesday morning at 12:05. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
