Obituary of Anne Marie Daigle

The death of Anne Marie Daigle of Loch Lomond Villa, widow of J.T. Patrick Daigle, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 27, 2008. Mrs. Daigle was born in St. Ignace, N.B., and had resided the greater part of her life in Saint John, where she had been employed at New Brunswick Community College until her retirement a number of years ago. She was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Johnson. She is survived by a son, Gerald J. of Saint John; two daughters, Rose Furlong (Terrence) of Saint John, and Patricia Benoit of Rosehill, N.B.; a sister, Mrs. Viola Richard of St. Louis de Kent; eleven grandchildren, Cheryl Roach (Terry), Cathy Furlong (Leo), Colleen Salgado (Mike), Tim Furlong (Mary), Tom Furlong (Karen), and Terri Lynn Bujiold (Mark), all of Saint John, Rose Marie Sentell (Peter) of Edmonton, Melinda Hache (Rene) of Sussex, Debbie Benoit of Oshawa, Gerald Benoit of Rio de Janeiro, and Theresa Prebble (Kory) of Toronto; and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. Resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, 100 Waterloo St., with visiting on Monday from 7 to 9 and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Stella Maris Church on Wednesday morning at twelve o'clock. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
