Obituary of Mary E. McFarlane

McFARLANE-the death of Mary E. McFarlane of 30 Oak Ct., St. Andrew's, N.B., wife of Norman J. McFarlane, occurred at the Charlotte County Hospital on Thursday, November 20, 2008. Mary was born in St. Stephen, a daughter of the late Wendell and Ruth (Gillespie) Holt. She had been employed as a lab-supervisor at the Atlantic Reference Centre. She was predeceased by her son, William McFarlane. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Deana Gowan (Dennis) of Mayfield; her sister, Barbara Chandler (Ross) of St. Andrew's; her brother, William Holt of Nackawic; five grandchildren, Emily Madill (Ehren), Eric McFarlane, Jill Kozak (Mark), Krista Gowan-Sutherland (Adrian), and William Gowan (Candace; and five great-grandchildren, Joseph Madill, Cady, Eva and Gabrielle Kozak, and Madison Gowan. Service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church, St. Andrew's, on Monday, November 25, 2008 Interment to take place in St. Andrew's Rural Cemetery.
